Individual Support
for High Schoolers
and Adults with
Exceptionalities
Through Blob Café, vocational training meets community — brewing confidence, connection, and purpose.

Unfortunately, programs for teenagers and adults with autism are difficult to find in our community. At AIM, we offer customized programs based on individual needs, whether it’s 1:1 therapy services or a group program.
More Than a Café
Blob Café may look like a cozy coffee shop — but it’s so much more.
Founded by Suki Choi of Autism In Mind, Blob Café was created as a safe, inclusive space where individuals of all abilities feel valued, supported, and seen. Designed with sensory-friendly elements and flexible expectations, the café offers meaningful opportunities for neurodiverse individuals to gain work experience, build confidence, and connect with the community.
For many families, the transition to adulthood for young people with special needs comes with uncertainty. Blob Café helps bridge that gap, providing not just training and support, but a place to belong.
On any given day, you’ll find team members stocking shelves, prepping food, greeting customers, or simply enjoying the calm, welcoming environment. Here, every individual is met with dignity — not as a charity case, but as someone with potential.
Blob Café is a model of what’s possible when inclusion is put into action — a small space with a big mission: to inspire change, create opportunity, and build community for all.
Visit us today to taste something sweet, sip something warm, and feel the joy of true inclusion and giving back.
We are open Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
