Children with autism have unique educational needs – those needs, should not prevent them from experiencing an enriched, supportive, and quality education.
Opening its doors in September 2021, AIM Without Limits (AWL) is a private elementary school providing meaningful education to children with autism and other exceptionalities.
AWL delivers Ontario curriculum using ABA principles and Morningside Model of Generative Instruction (https://morningsideacademy.org). Morningside Model includes Direct Instruction, Precision Teaching and offering teaching in a homogeneous group to maximize children’s learning opportunities and increase their fluency. Our systematic and balanced AWL model provides students with an opportunity to not only grow, but to AIM Without Limits.
High-Quality Teaching, Therapeutic Services, and Specialized Support
AWL’s staff consists of a highly qualified and multidisciplinary team to best serve our students.
Our school curriculum not only focuses on academic skills development but also teaches children life skills, emotional regulation, and vocational training at an early age.
We understand that traditional school systems don’t always provide a space for children with exceptionalities to pause, reflect, and refocus.
By scheduling mindfulness breaks three times a day, we provide an opportunity for students to check in with themselves, reflect on their emotions, and discuss ways to respond. This way, mindfulness becomes a habit and students feel supported when they experience new social situations or overwhelming emotions.
We also integrate professional therapy treatments into our school program as optional services.
These include one-on-one ABA therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, and psychologist services.

Opportunities for learning and growth don’t end when the last school bell rings.
AWL offers a comprehensive selection of afterschool programs to help children with exceptionalities explore extracurricular activities they may not ordinarily have access to.

From computer programming to food preparation to art classes, students at AWL have the opportunity to explore and develop their individual interests and talents.

At AWL, we understand that finances can be a struggle when it comes to specialized services to support your family. To ensure our school is accessible to all children with autism, regardless of their family’s financial situation, we offer the lowest tuition rates possible.
While AWL receives no government funding, we rely on the generosity of our donors to sustain our operational budget and provide equal educational opportunities for children with autism.
